SD Saltillo Tile Installation Professional installation of 12 inch octagonal Mexican Saltillo tiles with 4 inch dots for a floor in San Diego Encinitas area. After presealing the tiles 3 times and installing & grouting the pavers we then apply a final 3 coats of sealer for a medium to high gloss floor. Sealing and maintaining Saltillo tile flooring is important for a beautiful long lasting installation. I recommend a professional maintenance and resealing every 3-4 years for interior tiles and every 1 1/2 to 2 years for outside Spanish & Mexican pavers. Installation of 11 1/2 inch rounded edge Super Saltillo tiles for a kitchen & living room floor in Poway Rancho Bernardo area. Saltillo tile comes in different sizes for quote end quote 12 inch tiles because they use the metric system in Mexico and different manufacturers. So you get 11 inch tiles up to 11 3/4″ tiles and the grout joint is what makes them 12 inch tiles. And because they are terra cotta clay man made tiles there is variation in the shapes and sizes of the different tiles. We sealed the terra cotta tiles with a low sheen sealer. Installation of 13 inch hexagonal Lincoln Pavers with 5 inch border around the hand carved Cantera Stone fountain & pool coping that we installed for a courtyard and porch in San Diego Carlsbad area. And we used a high gloss sealer for the Lincoln tile pavers and a penetrating sealer for the Cantera stone. I usually don’t like to use glossy topical sealers outside for tiles because the sealer becomes a milky white and begins to fade away and peel from the tiles. But the topical sealer does add protection for areas with a lot of water exposure. We also do installations of anti slip sealers. High Quality installing & sealing of 12 inch Saltillo tiles laid on a 45 diagonal pattern. The diagonal is a little more expensive but it does add some design to the floor as well as making the floor and room appear bigger generally speaking working in & servicing San Diego areas. Installation of octagonal High fired deluxe & more durable Mediterranean Spanish style pavers and 4 inch inset tiles for a kitchen floor in San Diego Coronado area and sealing the tile flooring 5 times. And the installation of Soapstone countertops and Carrera Marble countertop for the island. We then installed the 3 x 6 inch crackled glaze ceramic tiles and decorative Mexican Talavara tiles and molding for the full countertop to ceiling tile backsplash.
